DO
YOU NEED HEALING AND PRAYER?
Our local healing conductors would like to offer to the
community a local list for healing and prayer.
Names can be emailed to
RebeccaLKester@msn.com and from there distributed to
each of the local healing conductors. Names would remain
on the list for one month to be used in individual and
community healing practices. The only request is that
the person's name on the list give their consent to
being on the list.

2010 Hazrat Inayat Khan URS Celebrations
To observe the Urs of Hazrat Inayat Khan in this Jubilee Year,
marking 100 years since Hazrat Inayat Khan left India to come to
the West, we will be having a series of events rather than a
single event. Please feel welcome to attend any or all of the
following:
Sunday, January 31 at 7 pm., Denver Sufi Studies at Shiva Mandir,

Monday, February 1 at 7 pm. at Hallaj's for the First Monday

Shabda Kahn is a direct disciple of the American Sufi
master, Murshid Samuel Lewis. He has been practicing Sufism
since 1969. He is the Pir (spiritual director) of the Sufi
Ruhaniat International, the Sufi lineage tracing from Hazrat
Inayat Khan and Murshid Samuel Lewis. In 1972 Shabda met his
second great teacher, the late Master Singer, Pandit Pran
Nath, and began the daily practice of North Indian classical
music in the Kirana style. He now teaches vocal music and
performs raga singing. He has appeared in numerous concerts
around the world. He is also a disciple of the illustrious
Tibetan Buddhist Master, the 12th Tai Situpa Rinpoche.
Shabda travels throughout the world spreading the Sufi
Message of Love, Harmony and Beauty. Shabda brings warmth,
humor and clarity in his efforts to help seekers on their
Path to Awakening.

Thursday, March 25th and at the Friday Night Dances of
Universal Peace in Boulder on March 26th.
